2026.06.1015:00:00UTC+00Mexican Consumer Sentiment Edges Higher in June, IPSOS PCSI Rises to 51.67

Mexico’s consumer confidence inched up in June, as the Thomson Reuters IPSOS Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) rose to 51.67, from 50.97 in May 2026.

On a month-over-month basis, the latest reading shows a modest improvement in sentiment, with the index moving further above the 50-point threshold that often separates pessimism from optimism. The June 2026 figure compares favorably with May 2026, when the indicator had stood at 50.97.

The data, updated as of 10 June 2026, reflect the “Actual” comparison of June’s sentiment level against the previous month. The “Previous” reference point, in turn, captures how May’s reading compared to April, reinforcing that the most recent move continues a month-to-month upward trend in Mexican consumer confidence.
