10.09.202610:00:00UTC+00Poland’s Consumer Sentiment Edges Higher in September, PCSI Rises to 48.0

Polish consumer confidence improved modestly in September 2026, according to the latest Thomson Reuters IPSOS Primary Consumer Sentiment Index (PCSI) data. The index rose to 48.00, up from 47.39 in August 2026, on a month-over-month basis.

The September reading, updated as of 10 September 2026, signals a slight strengthening in sentiment compared with August, when the indicator stood at 47.39. The “Actual” month-over-month comparison reflects this most recent gain, while the “Previous” comparison refers to the change recorded in August relative to July, providing context for how the index’s trajectory has evolved over recent months.

Although still below the neutral 50-point threshold that often separates pessimism from optimism, September’s uptick suggests that Polish consumers are becoming marginally more confident about economic conditions than they were in the prior month.
